Micro Enterprise

If you have a business or are thinking about starting one, you can get help for free.  The Micro Enterprise Program has already helped to start more than 90 refugee-owned businesses and assisted in the expansion of 60 others by providing access to capital and technical assistance. 

For eligible refugees and asylees, the Micro Enterprise Program can help with small grants of up to $700, matched savings programs for business assets (similar to the car IDA program), and low-interest loans of up to $15,000. 

The program can also help you with expert advice on permits and licensing, writing business plans, and doing effective advertising and marketing.  This includes professionally designed logos and flyers for your business, and even a website.
