Refugee Info was created by the International Rescue Committee (IRC) of San Diego under a grant from the California Technology Foundation. You can find out more about the California Technology Foundation by visiting: http://www.zerodivide.org.

Refugee Info is maintained by IRC/San Diego. Founded in 1933 at the suggestion of Albert Einstein, the International Rescue Committee (IRC) is dedicated to serving refugees and victims of violence around the world.  The IRC San Diego Regional Office (IRC/SD) was established in 1975 to assist refugees relocating to the US and is the leading private, non-profit, non-sectarian resettlement agency in San Diego, having resettled over 20,000 refugees. IRC/SD has numerous programs to help refugees and asylees acculturate and work towards self-sufficiency. These programs include: case management; employment assistance; immigration services; financial literacy and Micro Enterprise programs; specialized programs for women and youth; and citizenship/English language classes.

You can find out more about IRC by visiting: http://www.theirc.org/sandiego.
